EQ has tapped Shareworks by Morgan Stanley veteran Jim Wulforst to grow its equity compensation services business in North America. This comes on the heels of EQ’s announcement to partner with Global Shares for the provision of technology to manage equity compensation plans.
Jim has built businesses throughout his 20+ years in the equity compensation arena, including market leaders Fidelity Stock Plan Services, E*TRADE Corporate Services and most recently at Shareworks by Morgan Stanley (formerly Solium) as President and USA country head. Jim grew market share and achieved greater customer satisfaction during his time at each organization.
“The addition of Equity Compensation Plans has already been well received by our clients and by the industry. Adding Jim as an experienced executive leader proven to grow significant market share in Employee Equity Plans will accelerate our growth exponentially,” says Todd May, CEO of EQ.
At EQ, Jim will spearhead growth in North America by extending our global employee plan solutions to the market, bolstering the already strong Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) and Transfer Agent products. Jim commented, “I’m excited to be part of EQ family, with a long history of delivering service excellence and innovative technology for its global clients and their employees.”
EQ manages employee plans for 1.2 million employees globally including Share Incentive Plans, Save as You Earn plans and Employee Stock Purchase Plans, managing assets of nearly $3.8 billion. Our team has an average of over 30 years’ experience and delivers market leading administration, management and service to major global brands.
This year, EQ’s focus on growth and innovation has seen the launch of new products, including EQ Proxy and Equity Compensation Plans, the appointment of a dozen strategic and senior hires and the significant investment in developing new customer-centric technology.
